Craig Heldman is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day operations and strategic planning at Hobsons. Since 1995, Craig has directed the restructuring and expansion of the sales organization, overseen the expansion of Hobsons’ product offerings, and established strategic partnerships to solidify Hobsons’ leadership position within the industry.
As CEO, Craig has learned that a company’s people and culture are critical to success. This is why Craig defines Hobsons’ culture of collaboration and passion for education as “the engine driving Hobsons’ business.”
At Hobsons, education is more than just a business; it’s their passion. Hobsons believes education advances everyone and everything, creating a continuous cycle of opportunity. Education has been proven to lead to better health, higher wages, fewer crimes, greater tolerance, and brighter prospects for the next generation.* In short, education creates the world-changers of tomorrow. It’s this passion for education and technology that fuels everything they do and drives them to achieve success – from product development and customer service to thought leadership and corporate citizenship.
Prior to joining Hobsons, Craig held a variety of sales management positions at Procter & Gamble USA.
Craig describes himself as a family guy. When Craig is not in the office, you can spot him and his wife cheering on their two kids at their respective swim meets. His love for water doesn’t stop at the pool; Craig and his family take many trips to northern Michigan’s Torch Lake and plan vacations to new destinations every year.
Craig holds a bachelor of arts in finance and marketing from Michigan State University.
